In remembrance of loved ones who have gone home to the Lord, we will prayerfully read a necrology next Sunday, November 1 during our 8 and 10AM services.
Please submit names for remembrance via email to the church office by Thursday, October 29.

Advent Parish Project–Now is the Time to Start Writing!
|
Advent begins on November 29, 2020. For twenty seven days, Christians throughout the world start to anticipate and prepare for the yearly celebration of Christ’s birth. Our parish looks forward to this reflective time, too. So this year, we invite you to participate in a special project: a parish Advent and meditation booklet called, “Parish Advent Reflections”.
We seek parishioners to write short personal reflections on the Advent and Christmas seasons. We will compile these reflections into a keepsake booklet, and gift one to each parish family.
We encourage adults and children to submit a short personal reflection (approx. 300 words or less), or even a delightful drawing; perhaps, inspired by a favorite Christmas hymn, bible verse, family tradition, or a memory of a Christmas pageant or service.
We need 27 submissions, one for each day of Advent. Our deadline for submission is October 25, to allow for publishing. Distribution of booklets begins on Sunday, November 22.
To help with planning, please notify Andrea Pugh of your intention to participate. Signup on Sundays or reach out to her at abpugh@comcast.net.
Please join us in this special parish project!

A Focus on Crocus!
|
Please join in for our
Parish Planting Day!
Saturday, October 24 from 11-4PM
(rain date Nov. 7)
Thanks to the generosity of many, we have 10,000 crocus bulbs to plant for The Thompson Memorial Crocus Lawn in memory of Diane and Jim Thompson, founder’s of the St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market.
Even if you didn’t purchase bulbs for this activity, we need lots of planters to help plant them around the perimeter of the church and our historic graves. The bulbs are easy to plant, and it is a nice safe activity for couples and families.
Please join in to help us that day!
