The 2:42 Men’s Group promotes fellowship, learning and service and is based on Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Typically the men meet in the Parish Center on the first Saturday of the month for a breakfast meeting from 8:00-9:30AM. After the breakfast, there will be a short planning meeting to discuss activities–such as monthly meeting topics, potential service project ideas, the Annual Chili Cook-off, day trips, etc.
The R.O.M.E.O’s (Retired Old Men Eating Out) is a weekly informal breakfast gathering. On Thursdays at 9AM, parish men often meet at the North East Family Restaurant on RT 40 for breakfast and conversation. Attendees pay for their own breakfast. There is no agenda, just good food and chats about hobbies, interests, etc.
