Mark your calendars and join us for our four Lenten Suppers! They will begin on Sunday, March 5th, and the following three Sundays, 5:00-7:00PM, in the Parish Hall.
A light supper of soup, salad and bread will be served, followed by informative and fascinating parishioner presentations on the topic of “Faith and Science”.
We will have signups for soup and helpers.
Lent Begins on March 1st
Ash Wednesday is March 1st, and begins the 40 days of our Lenten Season. We give you plenty of opportunities that day to receive ashes, and to begin the season with an awareness of mortality and repentance.
- 6:30AM Ash Wednesday Service & Holy Eucharist
- 10:00AM Healing Service & Holy Eucharist
- 11:30AM-12:30PM Drive-by Ashes on South Main (at parish wall)–weather permitting
- 7:00PM Ash Wednesday Holy Eucharist
Lenten devotionals will be available that day and the following Sunday.
Adult Education this Weekend
Family Service: February 26th
All children of the parish are invited to participate in our new monthly family service. The first one, will be the last Sunday of the month, February 26th. At both services, children will be encouraged to help with ushering, and other aspects of our worship service. Church school will not be in session when we have a family service.
I you would like your child to help as an usher, Jr. Acolyte, or layreader, please let Fr. John know. Please bring your children to participate!
February Coffee House
The coffee will be hot and ready for pouring when Steve Warner and the Rolling Coyotes roll into North East next Saturday night for February’s Coffee House. Come and see this entertaining group! Parish Hall doors open at 6:45PM, and the show begins at 7:30PM. Suggested donation is $8.00 at the door.
