Thank you to all for your service to our parish!
Rain or Shine!-Garden Day this Saturday at 9:00AM
Attention Gardeners! A Little Rain Won’t Hurt You!
Rain showers are predicted for Saturday, but our church gardeners would like to forge ahead and continue with the plan to do some weeding between the raindrops on Saturday morning at 9:00AM. Sandee promises coffee and donuts. If it rains too hard, the gardeners can move to the parish house for a discussion about the garden tables at next year’s Garden Market.
Remember, weeds are easier to pull when the ground is a little wet!
See you Saturday morning!
St. Francis Day and our Annual Blessing of the Animals!
Next Sunday, October 2nd, we will hold our two services outside in the church yard for the Annual Blessing of the Animals!
Bring your pets for a special blessing at our 8:00AM or 10:30AM Services! If it rains cats and dogs, we will move into the Parish Hall for the services!
Calling St. Mary Anne’s Gardeners…
Gardens around the Parish House and Church need attention! All potential gardeners are invited to bring your gardening gloves and tools for an hour of weed pulling and trimming at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 1st. Coffee and donuts provided. Please call or email Sande Taylor to let her know you are coming (410-620-3820/mamacass4@verizon.net ).
Please note: If you cannot come to this garden session but want to get out in the garden, think about potting up some of your extra plants for the 2017 Garden Market now. Dig them in for the winter and they will be ready for spring.
Looking ahead to the 2017 Garden Market Plant Table … if you discovered any interesting containers to prepare for the spring sale, bring them to the gardening session to show them off. We can discuss Garden Market strategies and a time table as we weed.
