Wreaths Across America will arrive at St. Mary Anne’s graveyard this Saturday, December 17th at Noon! A brief ceremony will occur at noontime then, 60 wreaths will be laid on our deceased veteran’s graves. Dignitaries from Aberdeen Proving Ground, along with many veterans, will be on hand for this moving tribute. Thanks to the efforts of Julia Swoboda, a local high school student and parishioner, who spearheaded this effort. Please attend!
Cecil County Choral Society Holiday Concert
Listen to the sounds of the seasons at the Cecil County Choral Society’s Annual Holiday Concert! This special musical treat will be held at SMA on Sunday, December 11th at 4:00PM. For details, talk to Dru Torregrossa.
Giving Tree Details
The Giving Tree names have been distributed, and now we need to shop! Please return your unwrapped box of presents for the child on Sunday, December 18th between 8-noon in the Parish Hall. Distribution to the children’s parents will be on Tuesday, December 20th between 9 and noon. Thank you for your generosity and desire to make Christmas a little brighter for a disadvantaged child! Christmas Flowers
The Christmas flower envelopes will be placed in the pews on Sunday, December 4th. If you do not have an envelope and wish to donate, you may mail a check in any amount made payable to St. Mary Anne’s and marked “Christmas Flowers”. Be sure to include the name(s) of those you would like to remember, honor or for whom you are thankful. In order to have names included in the Christmas bulletin, please respond by Monday, December 19th by noon.
Angels and Shepherds are Needed!
Christmas Pageant, December 24, at 5:00PM. Calling all angels and shepherds! Would you like your child or grandchild to participate in this year’s Christmas pageant? If so, please sign-up them up ASAP. Practice begins during Sunday School in December. See Rachelan about practices and costumes.
