Annual Shrove Tuesday

Pancake Supper!

Date: Tuesday, February 17

Time: 5PM-7PM

Place: Parish Hall

 

Menu: Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Cinnamon Rolls, Sausage, Bacon, Applesauce, Hashbrowns, Juice and Coffee, and Ice Cream Sundaes!

Cost: Generous free-will offerings are kindly requested and appreciated. Proceeds to benefit SMA ministries.

Donations are needed to help make this a success! Can you contribute? Here’s what we need: pancake mix (just add water only), syrup – regular and sugar free, butter, eggs, juices (orange and apple), frozen sausages (patties/links), bacon, Pillsbury cinnamon rolls with icing (refrigerated packs),  frozen hash browns/diced potato, apple sauce, coffee. Please leave any food donations in the kitchen or refrigerator marked “pancake supper” in the next few weeks. (Left over donations will go to the Food Pantry)

Parish men are encouraged to help! Bruce England (England58@comcast.net) is organizing this event, so please let him know if you plan to help in the kitchen with cooking, or with set-up and/or clean-up.

 

 

Start off the School Year with a Backpack Blessing and Ice Cream Sundaes!

We will do our Annual Blessing of the Backpacks on Sunday, September 7th at both 8 AM and 10 AM services. 

Please bring your backpack to church for Father John to bless. You will receive a special gift for your backpack!

And after the morning services, enjoy a delicious ice cream treat to celebrate the start of our Church School year!

September Wednesday Women

The Rev. Dr. Darcy Williams will be our guest speaker and will talk to us about her Journey to the Priesthood.

We will have a catered lunch $15.00 per person payable at the door (cash or check).

Annual ECW Covered Dish Picnic

The ECW announces the 2025 date of this wonderful event as Tuesday, June 17th at 6PM.

Mary & Ken Blomquist will once again host this lovely gathering at their home on Hances Pointe.

All female parishioners are invited to attend but are asked to contribute a covered dish.
