Our Cemetery Committee removed the remaining Christmas decorations, plus fallen tree debris from our graveyard. Thanks to their efforts, the graveyard looks neat and ready for Easter.

We ask families of those interred in our graveyard to adhere to our guidelines. In addition, please remember that plantings of bushes and small trees are not allowed around the gravestones. Seasonal decorations are to be kept to a minimum, so that lawn maintenance machines will not be impeded. Families are responsible for decoration removal and clean-up, throughout the year.

Please realize that we do not have the staff to remove and dispose of these items, but we make every effort to maintain our beautiful churchyard and Sanctuary in keeping with the sacred trust placed upon us.

We appreciate the cooperation of all our parishioners, their relatives, and friends who have loved ones in our care. Your assistance is appreciated. Please share this note with friends in the area who may not see this notice.

We ask that all decorations be removed by Ash Wednesday, February 14th. Thank you.

We can’t gush enough about our Wreaths Across America event! It is very special, and should not be missed!

Please join us this Saturday as we pay tribute to the deceased veterans in our graveyard. We will have a moving noontime tribute ceremony, featuring representatives from all branches of the military, followed by the wreath hanging.

St. Mary Anne’s will have a Spring Churchyard Clean-up on Saturday, April 1st beginning at 9:00AM.

Bring your rakes, garden gloves and pruners! We will gather limbs, branches, and other debris from the grounds around the rectory, parish house and church. If you can bring a truck to help transport debris to the landfill on RT. 7, please email Rick Waterhouse.

Mark your calendars and then come join us, as we tidy up the property and make it ready for Easter!
