Dedication of the Flag Pole

November 8, 2019 by Amanda Marr

Veteran’s Day Sunday is the perfect opportunity for us to officially dedicate our flag pole. Lotan (Bud) & Jackie Poore generously donated the pole and flags to our parish, and now the permanent marker is cemented in place.
A brief dedication will occur at the conclusion of Sunday’s 8AM service.

Update on Church Painting

November 1, 2019 by Amanda Marr

We will worship in the church this Sunday!
The church is slowly being transformed with the new paint. Work was accomplished this week on the window frames, the altar surround, and the wainscoting and pew areas on the right side of the church.
We anticipate that the windows, altar, creed surround, left side wainscoting, doors (inside and out) and bell-tower, will be completed within the next few weeks.

Please Take Note

January 21, 2019 by Amanda Marr

It is now time to remove all Christmas decorations from our cemetery. All wreaths, artificial flowers, and decorations (other than veteran flags) should be removed at this time.

To maintain the historical integrity of our graveyard, we respectfully remind everyone that artificial flowers and decorations, other than flags, are not allowed.

Annual Fall Church Yard Clean-up on Saturday, Nov 17th from 8:30 to Noon

November 4, 2018 by Amanda Marr

The leaves in our church yard are bright with fall splendor, but in a few weeks they will be brown and scattered throughout our church yard.
To ready our property for winter, we will do our Annual Fall Church Yard Clean-up on Saturday, November 17th from 8:30 to Noon.
We plan to rake and remove leaves and limbs from the churchyard, remove and store 3 A/C units in Vestry House, and do other small maintenance tasks around the property. Please bring leaf blowers, rakes, tarps, wheel barrows, branch clippers, other gardening tools, and a pick-up truck or truck and trailer if you have one. We will provide the donuts and coffee

Termite treatment applied – Help needed Nov 7th

November 4, 2018 by Amanda Marr

A Message from Junior Warden, Rick Waterhouse: We are having a termite treatment applied to the garage behind the Parish Center on Wednesday, November 7. The garage needs to be cleared along the base of the walls to allow access for the technicians; and the contents will need to be returned to their places afterwards. I will be there at 8:30AM to start removing the contents, and the termite technicians will be there at 10:30AM to start their work. I will need a few others to come to help me clear things and put things back. If you have an hour or two you could donate on Wednesday morning, that would be great!
