Holy Week Schedule

Journey with us through Holy Week (March 24-31, 2024)

  • Palm Sunday, 8AM and 10AM Services begin on Hoopes Court for the Procession of the Palms.
  • Monday Evening Prayer Service 6:30PMBeautiful prayer service with candlelight.
  • Tuesday Healing Prayer Service with music 6:00PM.
  • Wednesday RETURNING Labyrinth Walk; Parish Center; 2 Sessions 12-2PM and 5-7PM  for meditation and prayer as you walk the Labyrinth.
  • Maundy Thursday Eucharist and Music; 6:30 PM Church; Stripping of the Altar to follow
  • Night Watch begins Thursday at 9PM following the Altar Stripping, and continues until Noon on Good Friday.
  • Good Friday Service at 12 Noon with music.
  • Friday Church open for Stations of the Cross, prayer and meditation. 12-6PM Friday and 12-6PM Saturday.
  • Easter Sunday 6:30AM Outdoor riverbank Sunrise Service; 8AM and 10AM (with choir) Holy Eucharist and Music
  • Easter Egg Hunt for our little ones between 8 and 10AM Services on Easter Sunday. Starting at approximately 9:40AM.

 

 

Way of Love Lenten Suppers

Is a great way to connect with others, deepen your faith and have some food and lively discussion! If you’re new to SMA or a long time member please join us!

Our Lenten Supper Way of Love series will begin on Wednesday, February 28th. This will be the first supper in the series of 3. Each session starts at 5:30 and ends at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall. The next suppers will be on March 6 and 13.

Sign-up sheets will be available after each Sunday service in the Parish Hall during Coffee Hour. You may also call the office. Please sign up for all 3 sessions.

There is no cost, but we ask that you bring a hearty soup, favorite casserole, salad or dessert to share with the group. Bread and beverages will be provided.

Ash Wednesday Services

Ash Wednesday begins the 40 days of our Lenten Season. We receive ashes to begin the season with an awareness of our mortality and repentance.

7am- Ash Wednesday Service with imposition of ashes and Communion

12:00 noon- Ecumenical Ash Wednesday Service with imposition of ashes at St. Mary Anne’s. We are joined in fellowship with Pastor Zach Wright, organist Sylke Bargsten and the people from Bethel Lutheran Church, and Family Pastor, Josh Mericle, and the people of North East United Methodist Church.

6:30pm- Ash Wednesday Service with imposition of ashes and Communion. Music by Joel Alarcon
