St. Mary Anne’s Director of Music, Steve McBride, is accepting new private music students. The area of study may be piano, voice, or organ. No previous study is required, and student ability levels may range from beginner to advanced, and age levels from 4 to senior citizen. Lessons involve a comprehensive music course geared to your ability level including the repertoire of your instrument, technical skills, sight reading, ear training and music theory. The Right Rev. Santosh Marray has been elected as the 11th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton!
Bishop Marray brings a wealth of experience to our Diocese: He has served five dioceses (Guyana, Bahamas, Florida, Seychelles and East Carolina) including three provinces of the Anglican Communion (West Indies, The Episcopal Church and Indian Ocean). Prior to his call to be the Assistant Bishop of Alabama, he served as Bishop Assisting in the Diocese of East Carolina. Marray first episcopate was Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Seychelles, Province of the Indian Ocean. He was elected to the episcopate in February 2005 while serving as Rector, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, Jacksonville, Florida, under The Right Rev. S. John Howard, Bishop of Florida.
Welcome and Congratulations, Bishop Marray!
We will host a Children’s Choir Camp this summer, under the direction of Steve McBride our Music Director. Singers will have the opportunity to improve their singing skills and musicianship. At the end of the week, campers will present a short performance of what they learned.
The camp will be held on August 1st thru the 5th. 9:00AM-4:00PM.
To be eligible to participate in this camp, students must be entering 3rd through 7th grade and have an unchanged singing voice.
