Thank you to everyone who made our Annual Train Day a successful family event and fundraiser! This pleasant event attracts the young and young at heart to see an amazing collection of trains. Approximately $1600.00 was raised for the St. Vincent School for Children with Disabilities in Haiti.

Dear Congregation of St. Mary Anne’s,
Thank you all for joining together on December 29th to help me celebrate the 50th Anniversary of my ordination to the priesthood. It doesn’t seem possible–50 years! And 30 years of that has been at St. Mary Anne’s, first as Rector and now as Rector Emeritus.
As Fr. John mentioned, this is really unusual for a priest and congregation to be together for so long, and it has been possible only because of your welcoming hospitality to both Judi and me. We both look forward to many years to come!
Thank you all too for the gift certificate to Longwood Gardens, one of our favorite paces. Judi and I will remember your generosity every time we go the that beautiful place.

Outreach Report for 2019

Our Outreach Office was open 134 days in 2019. Over 35 volunteers, assisted 1,072 families; 3,060 family members. We gave out 5,292 SMA bags and 1,421 Federal bags
We helped feed 50 families over the holidays with turkey/fixings. We collaborated with other churches, NE Rotary Club, Tome School, Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts, NE Elementary School, and Port House Grill.

23rd Annual Garden Market Meeting

We are starting to plan our 23rd Annual Garden Market (May 1 & 2) so it will blossom!
We need fertile ideas, sunny smiles, extra willing hands, and a combination of seasoned and newly cultivated leadership and volunteers.
Help our Garden Market flourish and join us this Saturday, January 11, at 10AM in the Vestry House for a Garden Market Planning Meeting.

WOW! Cookie Walk Success!

We broke our all time record and raised $2775.70 at this year’s Cookie Walk! We exceeded last year by over $260!
We did have a surplus of left over cookies, but they will not be wasted. We will share them during upcoming coffee hours.
Many thanks to organizers, Nancy Leizear, Kathy Mullen, and Amy Argudo, and all the hard working bakers, vendors, decorators and volunteers who contributed to this year’s Cookie Walk success!
