Giving Tree

November 29, 2021 by St Mary Anne Admin

As in years past, our Giving Tree project provides parishioners an opportunity to make Christmas a little brighter for a local child.

Here’s how it works:

  • You choose a child’s age and gender from our list.
  • We give you a modest wish list of clothing (with sizes), toys and/or books–along with an empty box to fill.
  • You purchase the gifts and place them unwrapped in the empty box.
  • You return the box to the Parish Hall on Sunday, December 12 for distribution to the child’s school.

If you want to help a child, please see Linda Hunt this Sunday after the church service or contact her via email at presleysnana2@gmail.com

2:42 Men’s Breakfast – Saturday November 6, 2021

November 2, 2021 by St Mary Anne Admin

NOTICE: Be advised that the men of the parish are starting up again! After a long hiatus the invitation goes out to ALL men that the first back-together breakfast will be on Saturday, November 6, from 8 to 9:30 in the Parish Hall.
For any man that has not attended in the past, we serve up a delicious breakfast cooked by the men. We usually have eggs, meats, breads, coffee and tea. This season we ask for a free will offering to help defray the food costs.
The very talented and informative Dawn Rodenbaugh is this month’s guest. She will speak about the upcoming 2022 Garden Market, and how the men can participate.
We hope to see all the men at the breakfast. We have had wonderful times and are excited that we are starting up again. Have a blessed day and see you on November 6. If you have any questions, please feel free to text or call me, Bill Weisel at 443-553-2210.

Crocus Planting on Saturday!

October 22, 2021 by St Mary Anne Admin

Crocus Planting on Saturday!
Join us from 9 to Noon!
The weather promises to be seasonable and pleasant on Saturday–the perfect weather for planting crocus bulbs to enlarge our spring crocus blossom display in our historic churchyard.
We can use your help to plant 6700 bulbs around the perimeter of the church. Even if you didn’t purchase bulbs for this activity, we need lots of planters to help plant them. The bulbs are easy to plant, and it is a nice safe activity for couples and families.
Please join in to help us that day!

Wreaths Across America Returns

October 22, 2021 by St Mary Anne Admin

On December 18 at 12:00 pm, 2021, Wreaths Across America will be at St. Mary Anne’s Cemetery to remember and honor our veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.
We are halfway to our goal of 90 wreaths! Help us secure enough wreaths for this year’s event by donating here.
