We will have a joint Vacation Bible Study with North East Methodist Church on Monday, June 18th to Friday, June 22nd from 6:00PM to 8:30PM. Registration forms are available in the Parish Center in back lobby. If you are interested in helping please let Janice Flood know.

Folk singer Reggie Harris will be our guest performer this Saturday, May 19th. Doors open at 6:45 and the show will begin at 7:30. Suggested donation is $10.00 per person at the door.

Sunday, May 20th is Pentecost. What is Pentecost? On the 49th day following Easter, Christians celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit onto the disciples. This occurred after Jesus’ Ascension to heaven.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Acts 2:1-4
