Attention Loving Friends! The Committee on Special Needs NEEDS YOU! Is God tugging at your heart to serve the church in a new way? Are you someone who is drawn to helping the “Differently Abled”? Do you have a desire to make a difference in the daily life of the church? Then the Committee for Special Needs Ministry is for you! For some time now, we have been a tiny but devoted little crew dedicated to opening the doors of the church to all God’s family, but we need YOUR help to grow! New Acolytes are Needed!
Over the past year or two, a few our Acolytes have departed for college or the military. We now need a few replacements!
Acolytes are the service participants who carry the crosses, candles, and other items in procession, and who help in a number of important ways throughout the service. Becoming an acolyte is a great way to get involved and to learn more about Episcopal worship. Acolyte service is open to anyone in fourth grade or above–and even adults make great Acolytes!
Periodic mandatory training sessions are required. If interested, please speak to Father John.
