With our combined efforts, good stewardship, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we’ve continued to “leave the light on for you” at St. Mary Anne’s during this difficult year. Our church remains a blessed sanctuary for worship, comfort and hope, and illumination. Here, we develop a deeper understanding of Christ and his words, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”. (John 8:12)
As good stewards of our God-given gifts, we pledge to support our parish to help others “never walk in darkness”. Our generous pledges are a loving response to a plentiful and loving God and demonstrate our commitment to Him and the Church. Monies pledged help us formulate a 2021 budget, so we can meet our operating expenses such as salaries, insurances, utilities, etc., and fuel our mission and ministries not only for this time but for future generations.
So, this Sunday, November 8th, we complete our pledge cards with a dollar amount that reflects both a sacrifice and a generous and thankful spirit. We turn in those pledge cards during our Offertory. If you forget to bring your pledge card, there will be some available in church.
