Cookie Walk before the Parade!

December 2, 2022 by St Mary Anne Admin

Due to a rain forecast this Saturday, the County Christmas Parade is now scheduled for next Saturday, December 10 at Noon.

The parade now follows our Annual Cookie Walk scheduled from 9-Noon in the Parish Hall.

This is a great opportunity to get in the Christmas spirit, so please come early next Saturday to participate in our Cookie Walk, then stay and watch the Cecil County Christmas Parade as it passes by our church! Over 125 parade entries are scheduled to appear! Plenty of parking on Church Point Road!

Enjoy sweet homemade cookies while you watch the parade. If salty is more your thing, the SMA Gardening Team will also sell soft pretzels and hot chocolate near the Parish Center front porch. Join in the fun

A Sparkly Tree!

December 2, 2022 by St Mary Anne Admin

Last Christmas, we lit the front holly tree near S. Main Street to celebrate the Christmas season and also to participate in the Cecil County’s Winter Nights, Winter Lights tourism efforts. We loved the sparkle, so the tree is now lit again!

We thank Michael Morgan of Heartwood Landscaping and Tree Service, Vicki Eicenhour, Charlie Kornsey and Bruce England for their help on this project. The energy efficient LED lights were a gift from a parishioner.

Christmas Concert & the Classics!

December 2, 2022 by St Mary Anne Admin

A Special Christmas Concert, You Won’t Want to Miss!

We invite you to a special Christmas & the Classics Concert on Sunday, December 18 at 3:00PM!

The string quartet, featuring Joel Alarcon our Director of Music, wowed us with two previous concerts this year. We are excited they will gather here again to perform Christmas carols and traditional classic music. The audience can participate in a sing-along portion of the concert, too!

The concert benefits our music ministry at St. Mary Anne’s, so we request a suggested donation of $20.00 per person; children 12 and under are free.

Please plan to attend and support these exceptional musicians! You don’t want to miss this!
