New Ministry to Help the Homeless

March 23, 2021 by St Mary Anne Admin

Can you make 10 sandwiches,
and/or a batch of cookies to feed the homeless?
If you can, the Mission Committee can use your help. We will assist the Paris Foundation with their work in Elkton, by providing a simple bagged meal for approximately 70 people, on the first Tuesday of the month for the next 8 months.
The Church will supply some of the meal, and we hope you will join us by making the rest: sandwiches and desserts. Sandwiches with cold cuts and cheese (no condiments) packed in individual Ziploc bags as well as finger food desserts i.e.: cookies or bars, also packed in individual Ziploc bags. You would prepare those items for 10 people–in your own kitchen–and only commit to our first date, Tuesday, April 6.
We ask that you deliver your food items to our Parish Center by 1:30 pm on April 6th. The Mission Committee will assemble the meals, add a prayer brochure prepared by Fr. John, and help serve them at the Foundation’s distribution site. Join us in sharing God’s love with those who need it most!
