Are you interested in receiving Communion but you aren’t quite comfortable to do this outside your home? Fr. John misses seeing you and is offering a safe way to meet, talk, and have Communion!You decide how you want to have a visit and if you choose to receive Communion:
- In your driveway, socially distant of course. Fr. John will bring a chair, and together you can briefly pray and talk and share the Body of Christ.
- In the Parish House or Church driveway. You can socially distance with him in the Parish House, on the Parish House porch, or remain in your car. You arrange the time and he’ll meet you just as above.
- For the brave of heart, Fr. John can meet you on your deck or porch, practice social distance, and you can enjoy some brief time together, pray and talk, and share the Body of Christ.
Driveway Communion begins right after Labor Day on September 8. He’s available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, from 11am-4pm. To get on the Driveway Communion schedule, please email Fr. John at fatherjohn@stmaryanne.org OR call the Church Office at 410-287-5522 and leave a message.
