Youth Group & Acolyte Party

Calling all youth (6th through 12th grade) and all acolytes and their families for a pool party at the Floods on Sunday, September 1st, 12:00-3:00 PM (we will start as soon as we get home after the 10 o’clock service.)

We will have hot dogs for everyone, please bring snacks or a side to share. You can also bring something else to grill. We’ll have cookies for dessert. Please bring your swim suit and a towel. Please RSVP by Friday, August 30th

Greeter Ministry

Do you enjoy meeting and connecting people? If so, we can use your help with our new Greeter Ministry!

A Greeter Ministry is necessary for a growing and thriving church, as greeters are the first people to welcome and introduce newcomers before and after the service.

It is also a great way to get to know our entire parish family, so we encourage parishioners both new and “seasoned”, to join this new ministry.

A Greeter schedule and a future training session is now in the works. More details soon. Please let Fr. John know of your interest to help.

Bible Study

The study of God’s word is central to the life and mission of Saint Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church. A Bible Study will meet in the Parish Center on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 8-9:30AM, starting September 7th .

This will be an engaging, dynamic and informative exploration of the Holy Scriptures. If you have never been to a Bible Study or you are well-versed in God’s word, all are welcome but be warned: continued exposure to God’s word will change your lfie!

By reading God’s word you will:

Build your personal relationship with Christ
Build relationships with other SMA members
Build relationships as a disciple, with family, friends, and those in the church and community.

Bring your personal study Bible or consider purchasing one. If you need assistance with the purchase, please see Fr. John.

Our Outreach Food Pantry is Closed for Renovations

Our Food Pantry is getting a much needed makeover! New paint, flooring, cabinets and countertops will help transform our Outreach Office and make it more serviceable for our clients and volunteers.

Please be aware that we will be closed August 1-17 as this transformation takes place. If the project is delayed in anyway, we may have to remain closed for a few additional days. We are sorry for any inconvenience. We will keep you posted.
