Diane Thompson & Our Garden Market

February 28, 2020 by St Mary Anne Admin

The St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market began 23 years ago, thanks to the vision of Diane & Jim Thompson. They desired a spring event that would celebrate God’s beautiful creation on our historic church campus, bring the North East community together, and provide an opportunity for local farmers to sell their spring plants and flowers. They achieved that vision and more, as our GM attracts over 4,000 visitors each spring from the tri-state area. This year, our GM will be on Friday, May 1 and May 2.

Jim passed away in 2011, and Diane continued to maintain his legacy with the Market. Sadly, Diane died earlier this week. We will celebrate Diane’s life and mourn her passing, this Saturday, February 29, at St. Mary Anne’s at 11:00AM. To read Diane’s Obituary, please visit Crouch Funeral Home’s site.
