New this year at our 20th Annual Garden Market–Floral Demonstrations in the Vestry House on Friday and Saturday!

• Bow Making Demonstration on Friday at 2PM. Bring your own ribbon, and learn how to make professional styled bows for your wreaths and packages.
• Wreath Making Demonstrationon Friday at 4:30-5:00PM . Learn how to make wreaths for any occasion!
• Floral Health and Hygiene Instructionon Saturday at 10AM-10:30AM,
• Floral and Herb Garden Basket Demonstrationon Saturday at 11:30-Noon.
• Basic Floral Design Demonstration at 1:00-1:30PM on Saturday.

 

How You can Help Make our 20th Annual Garden Market a Success!

• The ECW Plant Table Committee is still accepting your plant donations. They are gathering a diverse collection from trees to ferns to herbs. Please continue to drop-off plants in the Rectory yard. Please identify them, too!       Contact: Sande Taylor or Pat Wagner
• The Outreach Bake Table needs cakes, pies, cookies and specialty bake items. Please wrap and label, and also indicate basic ingredients that contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, etc. Drop off at the church kitchen, anytime on Thursday or Friday. Contact: Nancy Leizear
• The ECW Hot Dog Table is requesting soda and bottled water contributions for resale. Name brands are requested. Please drop off your donations in the kitchen and label  “Hot Dog Sale”. Contact: Jackie Poore
• The SMA Silent Auction Table is still in need of new or gently used collectibles, garden items, etc. Deadline for submission is Wednesday. Drop-off in Church library. Contact: Phyllis Doyle
• The Mission Committee is running their Annual Duck Races. This popular event is a great fundraiser for our mission initiatives. This year, race a duck and support their efforts!
• Pat Scott’s Marigold Ministry & Children’s Activity Area provides a lovely opportunity for children to plant, and take home, a marigold for Mother’s Day. Kim Lewis can use some assistance with this fun project!
• Greeters are needed to stand at both gates , and they greet our visitors with a welcoming smile as they had out   pamphlets with maps of the church yard.  Contact Carol Weisel.
• Helpers are needed at all of our tables! We also need assistance with  set-up, traffic duty, maintenance, security , and clean-up. Please sign-up to help!
• Invite friends, family and co-workers!

Coffee House , Saturday April 22, Parish Hall, Doors open at 6:45; Show at 7:30PM. Since Easter falls on the third weekend of this month, you will have to wait an extra week for the April Coffee House. Our April performer, Rupert Wates, is new to our stage, Please join us for what we expect to be a great evening of heartfelt songs featuring Rupert’s signature fluid finger style guitar and his distinctive vocals!
