Planting Day for The Thompson Memorial Crocus Lawn

October 23, 2020 by St Mary Anne Admin

We are planting this Saturday, October 24!
11-4PM
Please join in to help–even if you didn’t donate any bulbs!
Thanks to the generosity of many, we have 10,000 crocus bulbs to plant for The Thompson Memorial Crocus Lawn in memory of Diane and Jim Thompson, founder’s of the St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market.
We need lots of planters to help plant the bulbs around the perimeter of the church and our historic graves.
Please bring a trowel or a spade to plant. Plant these tiny bulbs in clusters of 3, in holes approximately 3 inches deep. Remember, plant bulbs with the pointy end up!
The bulbs are easy to plant, and it is a nice safe activity for couples and families.
