We announced the other day, that due to the Coronovirus pandemic, we will not hold worship services for the next two weeks (March 15 & 22) , and all church meetings and activities are canceled for the month of March. We will closely monitor the situation and inform you of schedule changes.
Below are some resources to help with worship at home; some specific requests; and schedule updates. I will send out a separate pastoral message later today. Thank you for your attention.
Blessings,
Fr. John
Please Worship from Home
To help you with worship during this time:
During daylight hours, Fr. John will open the church everyday for individual prayer and reflection. Please use social distancing from other parishioners who may be present.
Our Book of Common Prayer offers an online version; here you can access Morning Prayer, Noonday Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline.
The Mission of St. Clare is an ecumenical website offering Morning and Evening Prayer using the order set out in The Book of Common Prayer. This is a wonderful resource with music too!
Join in the virtual service online at the Washington National Cathedral with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry on Sunday at 11:15AM.
Our Faith & Recovery 12-Step Eucharist Service is this Sunday at 6:00PM.
Those in recovery and support groups are encouraged to attend, as well as family and friends. A light supper, in the Parish Center, follows the service. A testimonial, praise music and 12-steps are part of the service.
Let us help strengthen those in recovery with the message of hope, redemption, and God’s grace. Get the word out!
