Outreach Office Renovations

January 21, 2019 by Amanda Marr

Our Outreach Office is now being renovated. Some walls have been removed, and appliances have been relocated. A plan for new flooring, paint and countertops is now being devised.

All of this work is being done, so our Outreach Office will be more organized and equipped to handle a growing client-base of those in need.

Donations for food items will always be accepted, but please do not drop-off household items or used clothing, other than winter coats, at this time.

Paradise California Camp Fire Family

November 29, 2018 by Amanda Marr

We are helping a specific family that was devastated by the Paradise California Camp Fire. Lucy Burchess, a parishioner who is now in the Air Force and stationed nearby the devastation, brought this family to our attention.
Amber, Lucy’s friend, is now trying to help her entire family who lost two homes, a business, and all of their belongings. The Vestry voted to match parishioner donations up to $2,000. We have collected approximately 1400.00 as of today. We hope to have all donations in by this Sunday.
The need is great but together, we can make direct impact on one family.

Giving Tree – Christmas gifts for local children

November 29, 2018 by Amanda Marr

The Giving Tree will be in the Parish Center starting this Sunday. We have 76 kids to help this year from three area schools.
There are many ways to help.
You can:
·  Adopt a child and shop his/her wishlist
·  Shop for individual items
·  Share a child with another parishioner/family member
· Look around your house for items we need, or you can provide money for last minute gifts.
We also need a bookcase, a dresser, a toddler bed, a crib mattress, and toddler bedding. These items can be used or new!
There is a special boy who needs a good quality windbreaker (Northface or similar) in a men’s large, he also needs a new bike light as he rides to school year round.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Linda Hunt, our parish Giving Tree Coordinator, for questions
All gifts need to be brought to the Parish Center on Sunday, Dec. 16th.
