The new Cemetery Committee will be having their first meeting on Saturday, August 13th from 9:00-11:00AM. The group will first walk around the cemetery, and then go to the Parish Office for a short meeting.Teams will be formed to work on all the areas: history, restoration, repair, landscaping, rules and regulations, signage, and working with our lawn-mowing service, etc.
The following mission will guide the committee: If someone visits an historic country church and burial ground like Saint Mary Anne’s and finds it well cared for and clearly prayed in, this is itself a great witness. So time and money spent caring for such a holy place should not in principle be regarded as a waste of love, time and money, but ongoing mission to a sacred trust.
