At our Annual Meeting in January, Father John noted that Andrea Pugh, our Treasurer, is retiring after 10 years of dedicated service to the mission and vision of Saint Mary Anne’s. She will continue with her other roles as Altar Guild Directress and an adviser to Fr. John.
We are blessed that Judy Lynch stepped up to fill the role of Financial Associate, but the role of Treasurer still remains open. Andrea will remain as Treasurer until a suitable person is found and she will assist in training and mentoring our next Treasurer.
The Treasurer position is an interesting and rewarding position that is vital to our Parish life. This position is integral to our day-to-day business operation but does not have everyday responsibilities. Some of these duties can accomplished from one’s home computer; and we are very flexible with the time one would need to spend in the office! We do ask the Treasurer to attend the monthly Vestry meeting, the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except August); and each Finance Committee meeting, the second Thursday of each month. The Treasurer works closely with the Rector, Finance Committee Chair, and Senior Warden.
