In the Psalms we are exhorted to praise God’s name in song and with instruments. Through our Ministry of Music, members of our congregation participate in making a “joyful noise,” and our congregation is led in worship through inspirational music. Music is a vital and exciting part of the life of this church, and there is a place for you in our Ministry of Music! Talk with any member of our choir to find out, either for you or for a family member, about our music ministry! We look forward to welcoming you!
“Come, Let Us Sing To The Lord!”There is always room in the choir! As we begin our choir season, now is a great time to consider singing with us. St. Augustine wrote “those who sing, pray twice.” Whether you need to double up on your prayers or not, singing is a wonderful way to enhance your personal worship experience. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, and there is a quick practice each Sunday before worship. Any questions, concerns, or hesitations about joining us can be quickly answered by any choir member or by Steve McBride.

O God, whom saints and angels delight to worship in heaven: Be ever present with your servants who seek through art and music to perfect the praises offered by your people on earth; and grant to them even now glimpses of your beauty, and make them worthy at length to behold it unveiled for evermore, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (BCP, p 819)
